My friend Shari made this prayer pouch for a 20 year college student who was hit by a bus. She has a broken leg and her pelvis is broken in 4 places. She needs prayers and strength to get through the next few weeks.
Shari is the most talented and creative person I know. She can custom create a prayer pouch for any occasion. Someone recovering from surgery or fighting cancer.
This quilted prayer pouch is just a sample.
This prayer pouch is made of patchwork, inside and out and will have fabric luggage like tags with Bible verses attached on the inside, that you can't see until you lift the flap on the front. There are beads on the tags and a string type closure along with two buttons sew on the front.
After the pouch is made you collect prayers, notes and cards for the family. It brings much comfort to know others even people you do not know are thinking and praying for you during your difficult journey.
